Spliced veneer quality requirements:
A quality: bookmatch or slipmatch. Texture as requested – flatcut or quartercut. Lamellas have the same width and come from the same bundle to the extent of the spliced veneer sheet. Minimum special characteristics in veneers are permitted.
AB quality: bookmatch or slipmatch. Texture not specified – flatcut or quartercut. Lamellas may have different widths to the extent of the spliced veneer sheet, but bundle come from the same package. Most special characteristics in veneers are permitted.
B quality: randommatch. Texture not specified – flatcut or quartercut. Lamellas may have different widths to the extent of the spliced veneer sheet, and bundle may come from different packages. All special characteristics in veneers are permitted.
Special characteristics in veneers may include open and closed knots, colour changes, individual spots and sapwood.
